Bulgari 125th Anniversary . . .

"Big girls need big diamonds," as Elizabeth Taylor once put it. Those who share Taylor's maximalist leanings should be sure to check out Bulgari's 125th anniversary exhibit at the Grand Palais in Paris.

The house is devoting an entire gallery to the star's over-the-top jewelry, including the diamond and emerald brooch she wore at her first wedding to Richard Burton. The exhibit will also feature gems worn by Sophia Loren, Grace Kelly and Monica Vitti, as well as key pieces from the brand's history, and includes 600 baubles in all.

"Bulgari: 125 Ans de Magnificence Italienne" runs December 10th to January 12, 2011.
