SOTHEBY'S is set to break records next month when it auctions off one of the world's rarest diamonds - a 25-carat, cushion-cut pink diamond, valued at £24 million. The diamond, which was once owned by Harry Winston, will go under the hammer in Geneva on November 16 and if it reaches its projected price, will take the "world's most expensive diamond" title from the Wittelsbach diamond - which was once owned by a 17th century Spanish king - sold at Christie's for £16.3million in December 2008.

Multiple Use.. !!

Borrow Your Baby's Jewelry
She won't be needing those shower-gift earrings just yet! Add an element of surprise to an after-dark look a la Michelle Williams, with a pair of utterly adorable polka-dot bees from the children's section.

Wrap Your Wrist in Beads

Transform a long strand of beads into a chunky cuff in a matter of seconds. AnnaLynne McCord wraps outfit-matching necklaces around her wrist for a polished feel.

Pin a Strand of Sparkles in Your Hair

No need to invest in a trendy headband! Think like Emily Blunt and wrap a simple updo with a crystal-studded necklace (use bobby pins to anchor it in place).

Get Out Grandma's Costume Jewelry

Dress clips from decades past are the perfect way to surround your face with sparkle. If you're not as lucky as Olivia Palermo (whose aunt passes on top-quality vintage finds), try adding a pair of clip-on earrings to your neckline for a similar effect.

Wear Your Belt as a Necklace

Toss a bejeweled belt around your neck for an instant statement piece. Follow Rachel Bilson's example and let the ends hang loose for a laid-back take on the look.

Get Silly with Your Bangles

Whether you swipe them from your grade-schooler or buy a pack for less than five bucks, fun rubber Silly Bandz add color and character to your serious gold and silver bracelets. Layer on a bunch or select a single bright band a la Sarah Jessica Parker to dress down your more adult pieces.

Stylist collaboration with renowned Jeweler

For the first time ever, Fred Leighton has opened its archives to an outside collaboration with veteran stylist Lori Goldstein, who started an affordable clothing and accessories line, called LOGO, for QVC last year and frequently does work for Vogue Italia and W.

Fred Leighton's Creative Director, Rebecca Selva, who's collaborated with Goldstein on numerous ad campaigns in the past, apparently just handed over a big bag of beads for Goldstein to work with.

Sarah Jessica Parker was the first to debut a piece from the collaboration on September 2010 "during unveiling of Halson Spring 2011 collection".

The necklace is part of a 25-piece collection that the super-stylist designed for Fred Leighton. The collaboration, which debuted on Fashion’s Night Out, features one-of-a-kind bead necklaces comprised of faceted diamonds, Tahitian pearls, vintage glass, sapphires, hand-painted Czechoslovak wooden beads and a Victorian crystal heart. The line ranges from $3,500 to $25,000 and is the fine jeweler’s first-ever collaboration.
